- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I sent my nephew to this attorney on 01.1.2018 to assist with a quick divorce put down a 500.00 deposit and two months of installments only to have several issues with no response to emails or phone calls and to find out that my nephew wife had already filed on 11.03.2017. In the state of Texas it is only a 60 day waiting period. Unfortunately my nephew had a court date on 01.11.2018 and was not aware due to his estranged wife lack of communication. However it is now March 2018 and this lawyer has yet provided one thing for my nephew since January. He has missed his court date and the court has issued several dismissal notice due to no show or lack of communication from this attorney. My heart goes out to my nephew because I was the one who recommended this attorney however I am posting this review in hopes that no one else has to experience what my nephew is going through. I have had friends get divorce who filed in January and my poor nephew is stuck with no return calls and whenever he does it is only in relation to money. His estranged wife already paid the 295.00 filing fee how much difficult can it be to get a court date and end a divorce? People please be careful and don't make the mistake that I did with my nephew and keep your options open when looking for a fast quickie.
